Rotating Bending Beam Testing Machine has been developed to perform rotating bar bending fatigue tests without deliberately introducing stress concentration.
In the test system, a test piece is held in the collet and is made to rotate at the desired speed. A loading arrangement loads the cylindrical test piece applying a bending moment over the full length of the test piece. Fatigue life of the sample can be evaluated by determining the number of cycles until sample failure occurs.
